Hey Prepsters!

Spooktacular TAG

TAG Spooktacular

  1. Do you still trick or treat?

No. I stopped trick-or-treating a long time ago. I think sixth grade was the last year. However, freshman year I did g with my friends and It was alright. Now I usually have my friends over and we have a bonfire.

  1. Do you like going to haunted attractions?

No. I don’t like being scared. I’d much rather watch a scary movie where I can pause or turn it off if I get too scared. I know- I’m such a baby.

  1. Favorite Halloween candy?

I love anything involving chocolate and caramel together. I don’t really like sour candies.

  1. Favorite Halloween movie?

Halloweentown hands down.

  1. Favorite scary movie?

I will forever love One Missed Call. Such a good movie, plot and everything!

  1. Favorite costume you wore as a child?

I was a geisha girl for about three years. It was my signature.

  1. First costume you remember wearing?

I was a cow on my first Halloween. It was adorable.

  1. Favorite fall food and beverage?

I’d have to go with French Onion Soup and a Caramel Macchiato.

  1. Do you have a festive background on your phone?

I actually don’t. I’m such a horrible person, I know.

  1. What are you going to dress up as this year?

It’s a secret. Y’all will find out on Halloween!

  1. What would you dress your pet as?

I don’t believe in dressing your pets up. I don’t mind if other people do I would never do it.

  1. What candy do you have left in your stash after you eat everything else?

Twizzlers and Whoppers… good thing those are my dad’s favorites!

  1. Do you decorate your house?

Yes. My family is really into home décor.

  1. Pumpkin patches, corn mazes, or hayrides?

This one is tough. I’ll have to go with pumpkin patches. However, I do love corn mazes and hayrides too!

  1. Going to a corn maze, what do you wear?

Riding Boots, a knit sweater, leggings, chunky scarf, and a top-knot!

Wow, after answering these questions I realized how lame I am when it comes to Halloween. I’m sorry I just really don’t like the holiday that much.

Stay Classy,

Blog-o-ween Day #25: Liv’s Life #1

Hey Prepsters!

I am beyond tired. Sleep deprivation is never fun. I didn’t want to leave y’all with nothing so I have something cool to share with you.
In my Leadership 3 class at school this one kid has a project called Ehko. He built this website. What is Ehko? He says “In short it is based on the idea that the world has many problems and together we have the solution”. Think Yahoo! Answers on a more selfless and intellectual scale. Being an internet addict I love this idea! He is in the process of making an app for it too! If you have spare time you should totally check it out.
On a side note: I am surprised I can even type right now. My fingers feel like they are going to fall off. I just got home from a football game and it was freezing. Metal bleachers and leggings don’t mix well; just sayin’. Sorry this post is so sucky. I am unbelievably busy right now but I don’t want to let you guys down and not post everyday like I promised. Tomorrow will be SO much better- promise! 🙂
Stay Classy,

Hey Prepsters!

Today I wanted to share a quick fall makeup look I found on Pinterest. I love both of these looks!
Can’t go wrong with winged eyeliner and a bold lip! 🙂
Fall Makeup Eye Look
This can be achieved using the Naked 1/2  and the Naked Basics pallets! It looks simple and stunning! It’s great for all year- not just Fall! 🙂

Blog-o-ween Day #23: Thoughts on College- Applications

Hey Prepsters!

Hello all. Today I thought I’d share with y’all my thoughts on college. I am a senior in high school and am currently going through the time-consuming process of applying to college. I am applying early decision at my dream school (due to safety concerns I won’t share the name); that means that my application is due November 1st. Everything is done except one CommonApp essay (which I really should knock out right now but I am procrastinating like always). For me this process has been strange. Sometimes I get majorly stressed out where I end up having a crying-fit and other times I couldn’t care less. I think this is how I deal with the stress. It’s become apparent to me how stressed I actually am because my stress-acne has erupted like a baby volcano.  I usually don’t break out that much anymore: only on my period and when I’m stressed (TMI but whatever). How do y’all deal with this college app stress? Side note- is anyone frustrated how you can only add 10 activities to the common app? Also there isn’t enough room to describe my roles in each. Sayyy whatttt!
