What I’ve Been Loving | Winter-Spring 2017

Hey There, Blog Friends!

Almost two months ago I made this little video for funsies. I am in no way a YouTuber, just a blogger who likes to dabble in the video realm. I just thought it was pretty good video for taking into consideration I had not the slightest clue as to how to edit it lol. Take a look!

*Also can we talk about how great that song is? You can listen to the whole thing here*

Products in the Video:

Mint Julips Lip Scrub – LUSH

I think you’ll easily be able to see the trend throughout this post: I’ve been really into pampering myself lately. In all honesty, this was an impulse buy at checkout. BUT I am so glad that I ended up picking it up. The weather has been changing so much and my lips are struggling. This scrub definitely helps revitalize my lips (not to mention it tastes so good).

Mystic Antidotes – Calming Pillow Spray (Jasmine + Rose)

I can’t find a link to this one! I found it at Marshall’s so that would probably be your best bet! Its a nice gentle blend between Jasmine and Rose! I like to spray it on my pillows and sheets before I hit the hay. It has some relaxing nodes and helps me unwind in the evening.

Tazo Vanilla and Apricot Tea

It’s the perfect white tea for me! It’s refreshing and makes me think of the warmer months. It has definitely helped me get through the last of the cold and dreary winter! If you like fruity tea give this one a try!

You can find the powder almost anywhere! I add it to my blueberry oats in the morning, inspired by Amanda, because it doesn’t have any taste but it is PACKED with health benefits. It’s my go-to breakfast: filling and delicious! If you would like to hear more about some of my favorite plant-based meals leave me a comment!

PearlEssence Rose Water

Talk about REFRESHING! On Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays I have really long days packed with classes! After my 8am I usually crank out a lot of work until my next class starts at 1:20pm. I usually almost always find myself reaching for my Rose Water to give me a little refreshing boost to keep me going! Not only does it smell lovely but it feels like you are treating yourself too. Apparently, rose water is supposed to restore your skins’ pH balance, fight against excess oils, etc. You can read about all the benefits here.

Cupcake Mask – LUSH

If you can’t tell, I am kinda obsessed with all things LUSH. Over the past year I have actively been trying to switch over to all cruelty-free and vegan products. I adore LUSH because it tells you exactly what is in the products and they are all natural so no harmful chemicals will seep into your body. This face mask is a good one and my skin feels so good afterwards!

Rosebud Salve: Menthol and Eucalyptus Balm: Smith’s

Similar to the Lip Scrub, this was a total impulse buy at Sephora. I am so glad I picked it up! I love the smell and it does a great job at hydrating my lips! I keep it in my purse and I always find myself reaching for it when I drive with the windows down (the best way to drive lol). I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out!

Volcano Candle- Capri Blue

This is my all time favorite candle! Jacob got it for me for Christmas (or my birthday… I forget). I burned through it soooo quickly! They are kind of pricey so I always ask for them as gifts. I am itching to get my hands on a new one ASAP!

Thanks for watching my video and reading my post on this fine Wednesday! I’m going to strive to be more active in the communication portion of the blog world- so let’s start a conversation! Have you tried any of these products before? Anything I should try?  LMK. 🙂

Also I just wanted to throw out there that I updated my About Me page (finally), so you can go take a look if you’d like. And HEY look a new Footer (finally x2).
