This post is long overdue, and for that I apologize. Today I’ll be talking about the Lilly Pulitzer Warehouse Sale that took place in the beginning of June. This was my second year attending and it was so much fun, as always. Last year I wrote about my experience and you can read that here. If you plan on attending the sale next year you can read some of my tips here.
My friend Lindsey and I left after work and arrived in Pennsylvania around 9pm the night before the sale. To our surprise we were way farther back in line than the previous year (and arrived later the year before). It seemed to be flocked with Lilly for Target lovers; which is another rant for another day. We set up our campsite and befriended some nice older ladies. We invited them under our pop-up tent and they shared some beverages with us. Around 1am Lindsey and I went in her car and slept for a few hours. Around 4am is when the line started compressing for the doors to open at 5am.
This year we had to sign a wavier before we could enter the sale. Honestly, that was such a waste of paper and stupid all together. It controlled absolutely nothing. I did not see any action be taken for people who broke the rules listed. Also, I feel like the whole dynamic of the sale is supposed to be madness, which is what makes it fun (for me at least). Apparently why we had to sign the wavier was because someone pushed a pregnant lady last year. Let Lilly Lovers be psycho please.
Inside the sale I snagged some pretty good stuff! I ended up spending less than $300, which was my budget. Here is what I ended up getting:
Overall, It was so much fun and I can’t wait to go again next year!
