Hello Beautiful People!
Happy first day of spring! Today I awoke to snow on the trees. I think it goes without saying that I am so over snow and I’m ready for flowers and sunshine! I am going to be doing a fairly popular post, the seven deadly sins of beauty. I haven’t done a beauty related post in quite some time now so I hope you all enjoy!
The most inexpensive beauty products I own are the Elf brushes. For the price they are amazing. Obviously they aren’t as great as Sigma brushes but they sure do get the job done! My most expensive beauty product is the Urban Decay Naked Palette. Looking back I probably wouldn’t of purchased it. I prefer the Stila “In the Light” palette and I’ve been drooling over the LORAC pro palette for quite some time now.
I have a love/hate relationship with the Not Your Mothers Leave in Hair Cream. I love how it tames my unruly curls and how it is cream-based. However, I really dislike the smell. Its a very strong grape scent and it kind of reminds me of children’s tylenol (ick). The product that is my all-time favorite happens to be the hardest to get. It’s called Sunsilk Captivating Curls. I’m fairly certain they discontinued it in the USA a few years ago. It used to retail for under $4 a bottle and online the cheapest I can find it for is $20. Such a disappointment.
My most “delicious” beauty product is the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Solei Bronzer. It smells exactly like hot chocolate and is always fun to apply! Another product that I consider delicious is the Candycane version of Chapstick. It is only available during the winter months but without fail I always have to pick some up. Who wouldn’t want jolly lips?
Two products that I neglect due to pure laziness is primer and highlighter. Usually when I’m going to class I wear practically no makeup. If anything I usually wear foundation/concealer, mascara, and I fill in my brows. When I go out I usually do a “full face”. I think I don’t use primer and highlighter that often because I don’t really like the products I currently own. I’d love to try out something new, let me know what y’all reccomend!
The beauty products that give me the most self-confidence are the NARS Laguna bronzer and the Sephora Liquid Liner. The bronzer is the perfect shade and gives my face a healthy glow. The liquid liner is the best around! It makes my eyes look perfect and you can make the line thin or thick.
My absolute favorite look is a natural face. I add that little touch of sparkle with Stila’s Kitten eyeshadow. I’ve been using it in my “In The Light” palette and everyone knows how much I rave about it. My darling brother got me a single of the eyeshadow for my birthday. He’s so thoughtful!
Two products that are on my wish list are the LORAC Pro Palette and the Anastasia Contour Kit. I’ve been wanting these both for such a long time! I think I’ll give ’em a try soon. If anyone has any reviews about these two products let me know.
