Summer Car Kit! ☼

Hey Prepsters!

This summer I am trying to be more adventurous. It’s important to have a “car kit” established for impromtu trips and adventures. Here is what will be in the back seat of my car all summer long. Enjoy!

Summer Car Kit

1. Bathing Suit

Always have a bikini (or tankini/one-piece.. whatever floats your boat) with you! Who knows; you and your friends could be hanging around a campfire somewhere and randomly decide to go night swimming at your friend’s pool. Sometimes skinny-dipping isn’t always a good idea. 😉

2. Hair Ties

In the hot summertime it’s important to get your hair out of your face. Rock the top-knot or high-pony. Summer is the time for sassy hairdo’s.

3. Sun Screen

Say bye-bye to lobster skin! I can not stress enough how important sun screen is. It will prevent you from becoming a premature wrinkly old lady. Yes- you CAN still get a nice tan with sun screen on.

4. BB Cream

In the summer I personally wear minimal makeup. I apply Garnier’s BB Cream on days that I know I will be spending many hours in the sun (which are most). It’s a nice coverage for my acne-scars and has SPF built-in. What more could a girl ask for?

5. Lip Balm with SPF

Want sun-burned, crusty-crust lips? I didn’t think so.

6. Towel

A towel is perfect to have when you want to go on a spontaneous picnic, beach trip, or pool-day.

7. Hat

There is something so care-free yet put-together about a baseball hat. The Lucky Knot has a bunch of cute ones from Vineyard Vines, Lauren James, etc. Check them out here! (**be sure to use my coupon code “classygirlwithcurls” for 15% off your entire purchase!**)

8. Umbrella

Don’t let a little rain ruin your day!

9. Ear Buds

Jam out to your favorite music on the boat or on a nature trail.

10. Phone Charger

It’s always a good idea to have a phone charger on you just incase your phone dies. You never know what will happen!

11. Hand Sanitizer

After spending all day outside your hands are probably really dirty. Clean up a tad with some hand sanitizer.

12. Money

I know this is kinda self-explanatory but having some extra cash stashed away for a toll-booth is important! Keep quarters with you to pay for parking at the boardwalk or beach!

Stay Classy,
