Winter Wonders: Necessities!

Happy Thursday Prepsters!

The winter season is slowly dwindling away and springtime is right around the corner! Although I LOVE winter I am ready for a change in scenery! Here are some of my most loved things from this past winter. Enjoy!


Winter Favorites

Since I am getting older I’d like to believe that I am far more mature and sophisticated than winters before (A girl can try right?). This past winter I was going for a classic/warm look. I like to bundle up all cosy on the coldest of days. I can imagine myself in knit-socks,leggings, a comfy sweater, and my hair thrown up in a bun; sitting in front of the fireplace while sipping on a delightful cup of French Vanilla Coffee.  During the winter I like to stick with neutrals (Blacks and Browns) with some subtle pops of color (Red, Maroon, Cobolt Blue, and of course Pink). I like to bundle up by layer garments on top of each other because I think it gives a clean look while staying warm. Personally I am not a fan of gloves, mittens, or hats for the winter; although I ADORE scarves (preferably chunky, infinity scarves!). For shoes I like to stick with boots and flats. I’ve also become quite obsessed with Starbucks this winter. My favorite drinks for chilly days are: Skinny Caramel Macciato and Skinny Peppermint Mocha!There is only two things I hate about winter. The first thing is that I am so pale (ick, not for me). The second thing really bothers me: I am not allowed to burn candles (*faints and dies*)! I know it doesn’t seem like a legit excuse to hate winter but I LOVE winter scents and always have wanted candles! 😦

All in all this winter was pretty great! Goodbye Winter! Hello Spring! 🙂 Leave a comment about what was your favorite memory from this winter (mine was celebrating my birthday)!
